Comments (again)

Just to say, I'm afraid I've put word verification back on.  I didn't mind getting lots of spam when Blogger detected it (although it was tiresome deleting them all from my inbox), but now they're getting through to the page.  Sorry if word verification means some people have trouble commenting, but needs must!

  1. That's too bad. I got bombarded with spam last year and screened all my comments. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems yet in 2013. I hope this issue resolves itself.

  2. Guessed you might have to when I saw a couple of spam comments had snuck through. It is a pain - luckily there seems to be a thing called Akismet on Wordpress that stops most of them for me!

  3. How do you know I wasn't writing something sophisticated in code Simon?

  6. I don't mind at all. I agree with Dark Puss, you won't stop us commenting easily. Even if it's going to take as long as booking a ticket with Ryanair I'll still be writing comments ;)

  7. Mind you, it does make one wonder if one should have gone to specsavers....

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment - my favourite part of blogging is reading your comments!

Annoyingly, Blogger often messes up with comments... try refreshing, or commenting Anonymously (add your name in, though!) or using Firefox/Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. (Ctrl+c your comment first!)

Failing everything, email me: simondavidthomas[at]yahoo.co.uk - or just email me anyway :)

Thanks!
