This review really peaked my curiousity, I haven't heard of Ivy Compton-Burnett before, and I'm so pleased to discover that my local library has a copy of "More Women than Men"! (All the more so, since I live in Sweden). So go to the library and loan the book will be the first thing I do tomorrow! :)NoƩmihttp://booksanddetails.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-16059838509006873642012-12-29T10:12:22.448+00:002012-12-29T10:12:22.448+00:00Dear all,

I love that exchange between Josephine and Gabriel. And when have I, the product of a girls' school, ever been able to resist a book set in one?

Also, with just a few photos of Sherpa, I think you've destroyed all the work my mother put into conditioning me to hate cats. I love Dame Ivy and after your glowing review she moves to the top of the TBR pile. The second Karmic event is that I will be attending my 50th high school reunion in June at all-girls school which was run by the most ruthless nun ever. Will be reading More Women tomorrow.
