But of course then I stayed for the books! The 1.5 second clips of bakers' personal lives are so short and so unimaginative as to have become pointless (except of course the jogging) - I wish Ruby's had been of her equipmentless student room 'covered in flour' after a filo experiment.Peacocks and Sunflowershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00915384347467690635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-22971163799533625332013-09-12T07:33:24.667+01:002013-09-12T07:33:24.667+01:00Tears of laughter with my porridge. I loved Holly through until the bitter end but Frances' endless gimmicks just irritate me.

I think we need more Glenn and Beca asides. They are my two favourite personalities this series (while Perfect Kimberley is my favourite baker, followed grudgingly by Ruby) and I feel that together they have the potential to be even better than apart. Well, maybe that only applies to Glenn. How could Beca get any better when she and her Welsh-ness are clearly the best things about this series?Claire (The Captive Reader)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07430380065718826213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-37258858279276428442013-09-11T19:17:13.097+01:002013-09-11T19:17:13.097+01:00PS Can't believe you referenced Jennings. My favourite bit was Kimberly talking about her traditional Turkish rolling pin, complete with fancy name, then the quick cut to Beca using something identical while saying "I've got my bit of broom handle, so I have" (or something similarly Welsh).
