I am not anti-Twain, his work is brilliant, I am just ambivalent. Of course Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are his biggest hits.Thomas Hogglestockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14284352537015457974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-56924305302271265502010-10-27T14:28:41.762+01:002010-10-27T14:28:41.762+01:00Oooh how lucky you are! I saw that exact edition of Love and Freindship in a charity shop once and didn't buy it because it was 10 pounds and I didn't have 10 pounds to spend on books at the time. How I regret not buying it anyway! I hope you enjoy them. I'll be interested to hear about the Mark Twain - I want to make a good start on his books this year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-73908162090859440162010-10-27T13:48:39.406+01:002010-10-27T13:48:39.406+01:00How beautiful! Isn't Mark Twain one of those? I don't think we ever get round to him in school (too busy on a diet of enforced Keats) and then you've sort of missed the boat.Lyndseyhttp://www.teadevotee.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446727280609751914.post-6688920553588038842010-10-27T07:46:05.483+01:002010-10-27T07:46:05.483+01:00Your blog is lovely.
